Home Boarding
Home boarding is a kinder alternative to kennelling your dog where they live with us and our own dogs in our home in the woods with a large garden, some of which is wooded. Beds, toys and treats are provided and they will enjoy all the comforts, personal attention, care and exercise they require in accordance with your instructions.
We know that all dogs are different and we need to make sure that we are right for your pet too, that they enjoy our company, have fun in our paddocks and feel comfortable with what we offer. As such we always conduct a taster day which is our opportunity to meet, for you to see what we offer and for your dog to experience a day in our care. At the end of the day, when you collect your dog, you will know if they’ve enjoyed their time with us. Our experience has taught us that the dog gives the best feedback.
You can be assured that your pet is in good hands. We are dog owners and lovers and have invested heavily in training so that we can provide the best care. Our vehicles are professionally fitted out with safe and secure cages to DEFRA approved standards and we are fully insured, licensed and inspected by our local authority.
We have access to secure paddocks within 5 acres of Petersfield countryside to allow a safe and secure area for play and socialisation and we go on regular varied walks in and around the countryside of Hampshire, West Sussex and Surrey. Beach visits are common, especially in the Summer and our Christmas guests are always treated to a turkey supper and Boxing Day trip to West Wittering – an annual outing whatever the weather. We also provide stimulation through scent and search games, play times with balls and other toys and rest times so as not to over exert our guests.
As all dogs stay in our own home with us there are a few conditions that we must comply with, including being up to date with all vaccinations (including kennel cough) and regular parasitic treatment. We also ask that you provide your dog’s regular food.
